KNOW INDIA PROGRAMME (KIP) 2026–27

For Young Members of the Indian Diaspora

The Know India Programme (KIP), an initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs, offers youth of Indian origin living abroad an opportunity to experience the rich heritage, culture, innovation, and transformational journey of India.

What’s New?

Revised Age Eligibility

* 18–23 years

* 24–28 years

* Customized programmes designed for each age group

Shorter & More Convenient:

* Duration reduced from 3 weeks to 2 weeks,

* Easier participation for students and young professionals

Who Can Apply?

KIP is open to Persons of Indian Origin (PIO/OCI cardholders) holding passport of US (not for Indian passport holders)
