Consulate General of India, Houston announces 90th Know India Programme (KIP) for Young Professionals (24-28 Years)
18th - 31st October 2026 in India.
The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India invites applications for the 90th edition of the Know India Programme (KIP) for Young Professionals, scheduled to be held in India from 18th to 31st October 2026.
Who can apply?
Youth of Indian origin in the age group of 24-28 years, including:
Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) / Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs)
About KIP:
Know India Programme is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs aimed at strengthening engagement with the young Indian diaspora and connecting them with their ancestral roots.
The Programme provides a unique opportunity to experience and appreciate contemporary India's remarkable growth across diverse sectors as the country progresses towards Viksit Bharat @2047.
Participants will be acquainted with:
India's rich cultural heritage
Economic transformation & innovations
Start-up ecosystem
Scientific & technological advancements
Other facets of contemporary India
The programme also aims to motivate and inspire young diaspora members to contribute to India's developmental journey.
Since its inception, 88 editions have been successfully organized with participation of 3,178 young diaspora members. The 89th edition is currently in progress.
